Privacy policy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

Cyber Ally Pty Ltd (ABN 76 628 931 546), trading as Cyber Ally (“we”, “us”, “our”), respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and, where they apply to you, other privacy laws such as the GDPR.

Information we collect

We collect personal information that you give us directly, including when you:

  • complete our contact form or email us (name, work email, company, and anything you choose to tell us);
  • engage us to provide services (contact details of the people we work with at your organisation); and
  • subscribe to updates or attend our events.

To understand how our website is used, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which records limited technical information such as pages visited, browser type and approximate country. It does not use cookies or track you across other websites. We do not sell personal information.

How we use it

  • to respond to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for;
  • to manage our relationship with you, including invoicing and service communications;
  • to send you insights or updates where you have agreed to receive them (you can opt out at any time); and
  • to improve our website and services, and to meet our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, such as our customer relationship management, email and cloud hosting providers, and only to the extent needed for them to provide their services. Some of these providers may store information outside Australia, including in the United States. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is protected to a standard comparable to Australian law.

We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law.

Client information in our engagements

When we provide services to clients, we may have access to information our clients hold, including personal information. We handle that information under the terms of our agreement with each client, as a service provider acting on their instructions, and we apply security controls consistent with the standards we help our clients achieve.

How we protect it

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. If the GDPR applies to you, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability. To make a request, email us at engage@cyberally.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first at engage@cyberally.com so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
